Qualifications for Registration

In order to become a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (Car) You must:
●Hold a full British or Northern Ireland unrestricted car driving licence;
●Have held the licence for four out of the past six years since registering and qualifying,
but:
--A foreign driving licence, automatic car driving licence and provisional licence after passing the actual driving test, also count towards the four years
●Not have been disqualified four years prior to registering;
●Be a fit and proper person to be registered on the register; and pass the Register qualifying exam.
