TRAINING - SHOW ME / TELL ME 6/6

11. Show me how you would check that the direction indicators are working.
Turn ignition on. Operate the switch or hazard warning switch and check (walk round).
12. Show me how you would check that the horn is working (OFF ROAD ONLY).
Check is carried out by operating the control (turn ignition on if necessary)
13. Show me how you would check the parking brake for excessive wear.
Demonstrate by applying parking brake, that when it is fully applied it secures itself and is not at the end of its working travel.

You will be asked two of the questions randomly, at the beginning of the practical test. Failure to answer one or both will result in a minor fault.
